How does JobScore match candidates to my jobs?

JobScore matches candidates to jobs based on two components: "Scoring Criteria" defined for a job and the candidate’s job preferences. Here's more about matching:

  • "Scoring Criteria" are pre-populated when a job is added by scanning your job description. To improve the matching process, try tuning the scoring criteria for the job (see below for more information on how to use scoring criteria)
  • Candidates either a) enter their own job preferences when applying for a job and/or joining the JobScore Network, or
    b) JobScore creates preferences based on the kinds of jobs they've applied for in the past.

If you are visually oriented, see our diagram that shows how JobScore matches people and jobs.
