Hello,

The status ribbon for candidates has become unwieldily short, making it more time consuming to change statuses on candidate pages, and impossible to do when viewing multiple candidates from a status page list. Change it back, please. Additionally, the resume view no longer creates a pop-up, and now it's on a different tab, which also makes the process of reviewing candidates more time consuming. Again, please change that back.

Thanks in advance.

    Re: Resume review:

Sorry you aren't enjoying the new update.  If we keep hearing this for a while, we'll certainly look into making a change.

In the meantime you can simply can right click to open the resume in a new window or tab, as descried in our product update here >>

    Re: status ribbon:

I apologize, but I'm not sure I understand your comment.  We haven't changed the width of our status drop down (or anything status related) - would you mind taking a screenshot of the unwieldy control and putting it in here?

Hi, I believe we identified your "status ribbon" problem which was a bug with our custom action menu not opening appropriately - this was fixed within an hour of you reporting it.

If you are still having problems using the action menu & navigating jobscore, please report them here.

I'm really liking the addition of the resume tab.  I've been moving quickly through my newest set of resumes, and this setup works quickly and cleanly for me.

Thanks for your quick response and the swift action on resolving the status issue!

As for the resumes, moving forward I'll be right clicking and opening a new window, but this doesn't seem like a more efficient feature. My customary approach is while going through candidates on statuses like "New"  I open multiple windows of resumes, and then updating statuses or adding comments accordingly. Having multiple resume windows open allows editing multiple candidates from the same status list in quick succession. Unfortunately, right clicking to select "open a new window" is an added step, and while it doesn't seem like a huge difference, it definitely adds up after sorting several hundred applicants. I know that several of my coworkers are also dissatisfied with the new resume feature, so I'll encourage them to share their feedback.

    Hi Eugenia,

If you don't mind, I know this suggestion is likely a change from how you work now, but could you give something a whirl?

When going through a list of candidates (bulk processing) please decline / disposition the candidates you can without opening or reading their resumes first - ideally using the checkbox bulk control & autosend emails to the ones you do - instead of opening the resumes.

Then , when you only have "maybe" candidates left where you'll need to read the resume to decide what to do, try using the resume viewer / clicking next to review them after you disposition each one.

The idea is to winnow down the list to only read the resumes you need to --- and go through them in succession as opposed to in a bunch of different windows.

I suspect you'll do a lot less clicking and your productivity will go through the roof (and you won't have a ton of resume windows open at the same time that you have to close out)

Let me know how it goes & if this feels at all better,

    Dan

PS: and feedback from other folks is *always* welcome, please do ask them to check out the video in our product update post before writing in.
