Some job boards have added the ability for job seekers to complete job applications directly on their site. For instance, with Indeed Apply, job seekers can complete their job application form while still on the indeed.com domain - effectively never visiting your JobScore-hosted careers page.
In many cases this is a great because it allows job seekers to use the stored information from their pre-existing job boards profiles to populate your job application forms, increasing the number of applicants you receive.
By default, when JobScore sends jobs to Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and LinkedIn we turn on this “quick apply” feature, but it doesn’t work 100% of the time.
How to turn quick apply on and off
In JobScore you can globally turn quick apply on and off on the Admin > Integrations > Job Boards page. You also have the option to turn quick apply on and off on a per-job basis by editing the job. These controls are located in the "Job Application Integrations" card when you edit the job.
With Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and LinkedIn, if you turn off the quick apply feature, candidates will be directed to apply on your JobScore-hosted careers site and everything will continue to work.
Settings that automatically turn off quick apply
Some features that you turn on in JobScore are not supported by ZipRecruiter. When you use these features, job seekers will be directed to apply on your JobScore-hosted careers site. The two unsupported features are:
- OFCCP compliance: The US government requires that OFCCP questions be asked in a specific format and layout which is not supported. For this reason, if you turn on OFCCP compliance in your account none of your jobs will be eligible for quick apply.
- Click-through agreements: If you add a click-through agreement to your global careers site settings none of your jobs will be eligible for quick apply
