There are lots of ways to filter candidates, but one we've found we wish we had was the ability to look at all account candidates not assigned to a particular job. Kind of like the Unassigned view, but with a filter to narrow it to all candidates unassigned to a specific job, even if they are assigned to other jobs.

Dan Arkind Interesting - is this so you can discover prospects for jobs that aren't currently in the pipeline? if so, you might want to try using the Candidates/search tab or the Candidates/Recommendations tab - choose the job and then "account candidates only" - which will show you the top matches in your account that aren't currently assigned to the job.
If you are trying to do something else, please let us know and we'll see if we can accomodate your need.
Thanks for the request!

Dave Glick What you describe is actually how we've been accomplishing this. The only problem is that some of our hiring managers would just like to be able to take a quick scan through all candidates - specifically glancing over education and career history in the candidate summaries. The recommendations engine appears to only return a limited number and only those that meet a minimum score. This doesn't work for example if no/poor criteria has been added.

Dan Arkind Are you saying that people want to read *every single resume* in your account?
-
Dave Glick Yes, specifically those unassigned to a specific job. I think this stems from a desire to have full control - even if it means spending a little bit (or perhaps a lot as we add more resumes) of time. I get the feeling from our folks involved that they don't fully trust the scoring algorithm not to miss someone who may be a legitimate candidate.

Dan Arkind Hi Dave,
We'll likely roll in this feature as part of a tagging upgrade... the default list would be *every* candidate in your account and tags would be used like features.
-
Merilee Schillinger A tagging feature to tag skills for the future would be great!

Dan Arkind Hey Merilee and Dave,
We are now planning to add tags to Jobscore. (we're up the air on whether we call them tags or folders and a few other things)
Please add your comments and vote up the original feature request here: https://support.jobscore.com/entries/20182483-tagging-in-jobscore
