Sometimes you don't want all your users to have access to all jobs (and maybe all candidates). Their might be a confidential search (or a search for a replacement to one of your users). It would be helpful to have some user types, e.g., an interviewer, only have access to the job they are assigned to.

our current plan is to add a "guest" level to jobscore where folks will only be able to access the candidates that are assigned to jobs where they are on the hiring team (to review them and add feedback) but won't be able to search / see much else.

Resourceful Humans It would be nice if those users could still read notes. At present, we've had to give all our managers using JS administrative access because we rely on notes to evaluate candidates and this typically involves 3 or more people. Using private notes is a complete nuisance given the amount of notes we add and applicants we have. It would be nice if there was an option to give someone guest access to only see the jobs and relating notes for positions for which they are involved in the hiring process.

Linda Paul The original request for this feature was made in 2011 and is marked as planned. It is now 2014 -- can we PLEASE have this implemented ASAP. Full exposure is really not appropriate to all users, as the original requester perfectly stated. Thank you!!

Anuj Sainju We are having the same issue here where we want to have hiring managers access to the only jobs that they are part of due to the security and privacy issues of internal client. What is the ETA for this change.

Owen Johnson Whoa - I JUST discovered that a user can change THEIR OWN ACCESS from Interviewer to Hiring Manager. We had been using permissions to allow Hiring Managers to see salary information, mistakenly assuming that Interviewers would not be able to see this. This is a major problem with JobScore. There needs to be a middle ground between Admin and User. I do not want my Hiring Managers to be admins because I don't want them mucking around in templates, users, etc. But I need to have a way for certain employees to see all notes and other employees to only see their own notes. I have large interviewing teams of peers and it is not appropriate for a peer to see salary information. Me having to go back and make the salary portion of my recruiter screen "private" is an inelegant solution that does not match the ease of use that JobScore provides elsewhere.

Anuj Sainju Owen, We realized that issue as well. Jobscore definitely make some process on security and roles based access. I have not heard anything back from them yet.

Jennifer Johnson I'm running into another issue that has user access impact. I'd prefer that not all Users be able to see all Open jobs within JobScore, but rather just the Open and Posted Jobs. For example, if I want to work on a confidential backfill for an incumbent I'd like to still have that job show up in my Open list, but not have nosy users asking me about it. I spoke with Lisa and I know we can do a parallel private JobScore as a workaround, but it seems like better user access controls would make the workaround obsolete.
Another option would be to have a way to mark a job as Private and assign who can see the job.
