I've suggested this idea before, and I'm going to try again, because its a really good idea. This has happened to me a couple of times: I am interviewing a candidate, typing in my notes on the fly and at some point, I accidentally bump my mouse or click something, and the page refreshes or goes to another URL, and all my notes are lost!!! It happened again today - my touchpad is sensitive - and if JobScore saved the info like Google docs does, there would be no problem. Now I have to try and recreate an interview from memory, not easy! JobScore, you can do this! Thanks.

OK, this happened to me again!!! Its a killer, because try as one might to recall all the details one has written down in the notes section while interviewing, once they are lost, its nearly impossible. So accidentally touching the back button or refresh or something is bad but it happens!!

However, all JobScore needs to do is tweak one API in the HTML file to save the notes as they are written. It's that easy, and nobody suffers painful, embarrassing, time-consuming losses. C'mon Dan, please fix this!

    Hi Grant,

I can feel your frustration oozing through my screen.  Sorry about that. I've experienced this issue myself and know exactly how you feel.

If we determined this was a trivial enhancement it would be done already.

    Apparently we are missing something.

Notes, cover letters and a lot of other content in JobScore is created and edited in HTML using a widely used WYSIWYG editor called CK Editor.  Please email the link to the code that makes CK Editor store content as it's created p_erfectly, across all browsers..._ if there's a stable plugin that's widely used to do this, we'll gladly turn it on / get it in - it just didn't seem there was one yet.

Our research found examples of others doing this reliably in a few browsers using text, but no broad solution for rich / HTML content.

Sorry for your frustration, I'd love to see this voted up and I'm sure it's something we'll definitely get into JobScore as there's no question as to it's utility.

    Hi Grant,

Good news - we've done some work on the Note WYSIWYG and have deployed a solution that should work on most modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and IE8+).   Here's hoping this saves you future frustration!
