When I close a job make it easy to remove postings from Job Boards

I would like to be able to remove a job posting from external job posting boards if the job was closed.  I am having to add a person and "hire" them to use the filled status because this is the only way that I can remove from external job boards automatically.  I found out that a job that we ended up not filling at all was all over the internet and I was unable to remove it until I "hired" a dummy candidate.  I received calls from random people weeks after I closed the job.
