What is quick search?

Quick search, also known as quick navigation, is the easiest way to get around in JobScore. It’s the box at the top of the page that says “Search Candidates, Jobs, Tags, Users, and Pages” When you open the control you’ll see the last few pages you visited:

When you start typing JobScore will look through the records in your account to try to find what you’re looking for.  Quick search results include:

  • Candidates: Looks for first name, last name, phone number, and email address.
  • Jobs: Looks for job title.
  • Users: Looks for first name, last name and email address.
  • Tags: Looks for tag text.
  • Pages: Looks for page title..

The quick search control respects access levels in JobScore and only returns records the logged in user can see.

If a user has the standard, limited, admin or owner access level when they type in the quick search control and press the enter key, JobScore will run a full text search of all of the resumes and notes in your account.

Pro Tip: No matter where you are in JobScore if you press Ctrl + / on a PC or Cmd + / on a Mac the quick search control will open. You can type to find what you are looking for and use the up and down arrows to select a result. This makes it easy to navigate to any page in JobScore without taking your hands off your keyboard.
